International Paper Employee Relief Fund
Administrative Committee Charter

PURPOSE

To conduct reviews of employee applications for assistance from the IP Employee Relief Fund and determine if funds will be granted.

ADMINISTRATIVE COMMITTEE

  • Committee of seven employees from various IP locations.
  • Committee members serve a maximum term of two years.
  • Three committee members create a quorum.
  • The majority of the committee present rules on a decision.

COMMITTEE RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Weekly review of new applications on an as needed basis
  2. Document decisions made
  3. Detailed documentation required for denied requests
  4. ERF staff member will record committee meeting Minutes.

Participate in orientation on responsibilities and policies of the IP Employee Relief Fund  
Use the established criteria of the IP Employee Relief Fund to determine outcome of the requests Subjective review of applications
  Making direct contact with applicants
Voluntary committee participation  
Strict confidentiality on all grant applications  
Consult legal advisor on conflicting or questionable issues
